Unknown Caller
Do you answer these? I ask because I never do - NEVER! If I don’t recognize a name or number on my phone, I let it go to voice mail. Sometimes though I’m really curious as to who it was when they don’t leave a message. Thanks to the World Wide Web, we can now look up who that was using a reverse phone directory like CallerBase. CallerBase is one of my favorites of the many out there that allow you to type in a phone number, and then they will tell you who owns the number. I’ve used it on many occasions, and while sometimes it can not tell you (for example, my number is unlisted and will only show up as being owned by Southwestern Bell), for the most part, I’ve found that it does in fact prove helpful for me when I want to know who just called my cell phone or for numbers that are on my caller id at home that call when we aren’t there. If you’ve not tried a reverse number lookup, check it out the next time you are wondering who a number belongs to. You’ll find out who was calling without having to call them back and say, “Who is this?”

I don’t know the number or don’t see a name, I don’t answer. Then if it goes to voicemail and they don’t leave a message, I know it would have been a waste of my time.
