Today I have good and bad news – the good.
The GOOD: I have a job reassignment. I currently teach high school English at our school – I’m the only English teacher grades 9 through 12. It is now official that next year I’ll be the business/technology teacher. I’m so excited. That’s what I went to school for – business/technology. I’m so excited to be teaching it. I have a lot to do before August, but it will be exciting to developed new curriculum and teach a new subject. I was ready for a change and now I can’t wait for summer – not so much for the vacation (but yes that too) but so I can start preparing for August. YEA!
The BAD: I can’t seem to lose any more weight. I admit to not being real dilligent with my exericse and dieting, but I’ve not been bad either. I’ve got to get more regular with my exercise. I got two new physical fitness type games for the Wii that I’m going to try out but I have to find something motivating. I’ve avoided any diet pills or natural appetite suppressants or anything like that, but it’s getting real hard to stay motivated.

I am wanting to lose a few pounds too! I try to watch my carbs and that seems to work but it is hard. I love carbs, LOL!

Stick with it, Kimberly – slow and steady, and it will come off. Simple math – calories in minus calories out over time. Don’t expect to lose more than a pound or two a week. I’m sure you’re doing just fine – if you’re not gaining, you’re on the right track. Along with swimsuit season comes more outdoor activities. Vary the routine, too. We’re in the same boat, you and I, and we’re GOING TO GET THERE. (No, we’re NOT “there yet,” but we will be. LOL!)
