A busy life (dealing with the health issues of my grandfather) has caused many difficulties in my resolution to lose those 2 sizes by June. While I have been able to start a semi scheduled exercise routine, I’ve had little effort at making diet changes. When you are living off fast food most evenings between work and the hospital, it’s tough to eat healthy. I’m sorry, but I find the healthy fast food options to be “yuck” to my taste buds. I’m considering trying a weight loss drink until life settles down. If nothing else, it’s easy and convenient and probably much healthier than the school lunches I’m eating right now. I’ve never tried several brands so thinking this weekend of buying the smallest quantity available of a few different brands and varieties to see if I like any of them.

So Many Methods
Yes, finding those weight loss stories are so motivating, but you also find that everyone has such a different approach to their weight loss. How do they do it? From major exercise routines and colon cleansers to medications like Stimerex ES, everyone has a different answer. So yes, you can get motivation, but how do you decide which approaches to try? Which will work for you and are still healthy? That’s a tough question that I’ll be researching and considering over the next few months. I want to push the boundaries, find something that works, but not make decisions that aren’t healthy.
Inspiration
The Internet has its moments when I think it is such a great tool – one of those is when you need motivation. By doing a simple search, you can find a wonderful weight loss story that gives you the push to make wise decisions to know you can in fact lose the weight you are seeking. Thank you Internet for the motivation I needed tonight to know that I can in fact lose a few pounds and get healthier before we hit the DISNEY CRUISE LINE! What are some steps you’ve taken that helped, were long term, didn’t require gym equipment or a gym membership?
Cleaning
One of the biggest ways I see that are popular for losing weight and being healthy right now is cleansing yourself – so I’ve been reading colon cleanser reviews and while there are those that believe it and believe it with all their mite, I just don’t think it’s for me. But I’m curious. I’d love to read details of people I “know” that have tried it. I can’t say that I would never try it, but there are just issues with it that I think “ugh! not me!” So – have any of you tried this? I’d like to know about it. Did you blog about it? Send me the link.
100 Days and Counting Down
Yep! It’s 100 days until we are headed for our dream summer vacation celebrating Becka’s graduation from high school – a DISNEY vacation of course. I’ve really been thinking and trying to decide on a plan though to lost a few pounds. What better motivation than a Disney cruise to make you want to lose the pounds? So I’m trying to decide – what can I do (and stick to) to lose a few pounds? In my quest of a plan I’ve found some great ads – I’ve actually thought seriously about Nutrisystem, but I know I’m not going to do it, just not my thing, and found a list of the top 10 fat burners. That’s what I need – a way to get my body to burn more calories. I’m thinking I need a dedicated and pushy exercise buddy. Whatever I do, I’ve got to develop a plan and fast. Wish me luck
