We decided we had sat around all week and had all we could handle so we loaded up this afternoon for a family outing. I called and my dad and grandmother wanted to go too. We went to see Igor. This was a cute kid movie I guess. It would not be on my list of favorites, and I won’t but it on DVD unless Cameron specifically requests it around Christmas or a birthday, but I enjoyed watching her enjoy it. It did have it’s adult moments as all kids shows seem to have now. You know the ones that only the adults in the room find funny?
I had barely heard of this movie, but when I pulled up the list of movies showing and Cameron looked over them, this was her first and immediately pick (I was surprised as there was another 3D one showing that I thought she would choose. I was shocked since I barely even know what it was about that we showed up on time (not early…just in time) to a PACKED theatre. We actually had to sit up front (YUCK! I don’t think I’ve ever done that before).
We finished up with some yummy Mexican food at one of our favorite restaurants (I was only disappointed that since my grandmother was there I passed on the delightful margaritas they have) at Casa Del Rio.
If your thinking of taking your little ones out to a movie or they’ve mentioned Igor, here’s a preview for you to check out. It kept Cameron’s attention throughout the movie and she was reminding us of her favorite parts at dinner so Igor is one I’d recommend.
