Dancing with the Star Pros & Celebrities Tidbits

As I skim the online news, I thought instead of doing a larger article today, I would just kind of sum up some of the most recent Dancing with the Stars gossip….errr news.   Most of these I’ve published in other related newsflashes so if you’d like more details check out my Dancing with the Stars series page.

• Karina Smirnoff and Mario Lopez who were past partners on Dancing with the Stars have called their romance over.
• Other Dancing with the Stars romances are still going strong: Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth (from this past season) are still a hot item making many celebrity news headlines and Mark Ballas and Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan are not making headlines but also still an item.
• Julianne Hough is moving up the billboard chart with record speed as she enters the country music world. Her new single is frequenly on our local radio stations, and she’s already sold over 67,000 copies of her CD. Starting tomorrow she will be touring with Brad Paisley.
• Christian de la Fuente has recovered nicely from his surgery after he injured it during last season. His new series premiered on USA this past weekend, and was pretty interesting. Check out In Plain Sight to continue seeing Christian on your television.

Dancing with the Stars Couple Call It Quits

After some early rumors (that I didn’t pass on because the sources didn’t seem reliable), it would appear that rumors concerning Dancing with the Stars couple Karina Smirnoff and Mario Lopez are true. The couple have ended their relationship. Rumors started circulating back in April, but both denied the rumors and were seen together after that so it appeared to be just that – rumors, but now it appears to be true. Though the couple had been together for two years – even moving it together, it appears that they are now going their separate ways. Though I’ve not found why, I have found quotes from Mario about how he respects and wishes Karina the best of luck so it appears that this is a friendly separation.
