live from home!! Yes, you are reading correctly. My Internet has FINALLY been restored! Yes…that’s right. My Internet is back! It’s back. After almost a month of crappy and no service, I’m up and going again.

An End In Sight
Yea! Well it’s still a little sad, but there is an end in sight to my problems. The technician FINALLY made it to the house Friday to figure out what was wrong. As it turns out as a long term customer, my equipment was so old they no longer carry parts to fix it. Oh yea! For my loyalty do I get a new system for free or anything? Of course not, but at least my friendly techician did tell me that I would be better off (financially) to actually cancel my entire account and then opening a new one. (Isn’t that the most retarded thing?) So I did so and he will be back to set me up with new equipment as a new customer on Thursday. So I guess I will be stuck to heading to the local coffee franchises for a few more days to bum off their free Internet, but soon I’ll be back in the blogosphere going strong. I miss everyone!
RANTING TIME
I STILL DO NOT HAVE INTERNET!!! Oh yes! It is time for me to go ballistic. I can not believe that no one has contacted me yet! I’m LIVID! This is insane!! Yes, I miss my blogging…I feel as though I’m going through withdrawals from not just posting but from reading all of you out there that I love! I miss email as I now have like 2000 messages to go through!! I’m NOT HAPPY about this either. But it’s not that simple – there’s the fact that my gradebook is online so no accessing it from home. I’m the speech/debate coach and I need to be able to do research from this BUT I CAN’T DO IT AT HOME! And so much is blocked at work that I can’t do my enjoyable Internet stuff or my WORK RELATED Internet stuff from there. UGH!!!!! I AM HATING HUGHESNET MORE AND MORE BY THE DAY!!!!
Well my plans
all went to hell and back because my Internet was out all morning. UGH!! That’s my luck. I have no plans, nothing on my to do list that can’t wait a little while and the freakin’ Internet doesn’t work. What’s new!? I hate satellite Internet. I HATE it! With a passion. I have HughesNet and it seems like it is going out more and more lately. The best I get is 50% of the time uptime. I hate it! Now, don’t give me wrong. I have to love it. I have no other options, but dialup. I couldn’t deal with dialup so I have satellite, and I’m glad I have it, but it’s so frustrating. So I spent the morning watching chick flicks that are not Cameron appropriate. That was almost as good as my Internet time I guess…..
