Disney on TV This Week

If you are like me and love to catch all the Disney on television you can, here’s this week’s scheduled Disney I could find.

Wednesday, June 11

  • 12 PM EST: Food Network Challenge – Disney Pixar Cakes (Food Network): With a time limit of seven hours and a grand prize of $10,000 at stake, four of the country’s top cake designers race to complete 3-foot-tall cakes featuring some of the most famous characters from movies created by Pixar Animation Studios.
    • This is a repeat that we watched and recorded. It was a great show that I highly recommend if you haven’t already watched it.
  • 2:00 PM EST: Undiscovered Walt Disney World (The Travel Channel): Little-known attractions and exclusive side trips at the family-themed amusement park include a personal yacht trip and deluxe meals at the chef’s table.

Saturday, June 14

  • 9:00 PM EST: Unwrapped – Disney World Resort (Food Network): A tour of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Included: the making of chocolate-covered Mickey Mouse ice-cream bars; and catering a fairy-tale wedding at Cinderella Castle.

Sunday, June 15

  • 12:00 AM EST: Unwrapped – Disney World Resort (Food Network): A tour of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Included: the making of chocolate-covered Mickey Mouse ice-cream bars; and catering a fairy-tale wedding at Cinderella Castle. (REPEAT FROM SATURDAY)

Disney Back on TV This Week

If you are like me and love to watch Disney on TV, it’s time to program the DVR’s (I did mine this morning) for these airing of television shows that are connected to Disney.

The first one will air tomorrow (June 4) on The Food Network at 9:00 EST. It’s the Food Network Challenge and on tomorrow’s episode conestants will compete for $10,000 by creating 3 foot tall cakes that must feature characters from movies created by Pixar Animation Studios, and they must complete the project in seven hours! Don’t have a DVR and going to be out tomorrow night. No fret, it will air again on Thursday at midnight, Saturday at 3:00 PM, and Sunday at 5:00 PM.

The Travel Channel will also be airing some Disney television this week. If you are a die-hard fan you may have already seen these episodes, but even if you’ve already seen them, they are still a nice Disney fix when you’ve been away from the World for so long. :)

Friday, June 6

  • 7:00 PM EST – Walt Disney World Resorts: Behind the Scenes

Sunday, June 8

  • 9:00 AM EST – World’s Best – Cruise Ships (one of the ships reviewed will be the Disney Wonder)

  • 8:00 PM EST – Walt Disney World Resorts: Behind the Scenes (repeat from Friday)
  • 9:00 PM EST – Samantha Brown’s Disney Favorites (repeat from earlier today)
