Still Looking for Father’s Day Presents

Today is the last day of school (yea!) so it’s time to really focus and find those last Father’s Day gifts for all the fathers in my life. I’ve already started purchasing stuff, but I’ve still got a few more items I need to purchase.  I’ve been brainstorming and thinking I want to find something that they will see daily and use – a constant remember of how much we love and appreciate them. Someone at lunch yesterday suggested a piece of jewelry; however, none of the fathers in my life wear jewelry, but it did give me a great idea – maybe a watch!  So I’m looking now at IWC watches. These look to be some very nice watches that I think they will really enjoy.  I’m thinking of at least picking one of these up for my grandfather. They have some timeless looking pieces that I think really fit his personality.

And the Lightbulb Goes Off

Which lightbulb you ask? The one above my head that signifies that I have an idea. As I mentioned yesterday I’m trying to figure out what to get the fathers in my life for Father’s Day.  Last night I went to visit my mom and dad, and my dad was messing with my keys that I had left on the counter. Attached to my keys is a 4 gigabyte usb flash drive that I carry everywhere with me as I’ve learned you never know when you may be somewhere and want to save something digitally. He commented on it being so large compared to his 1 gb flash drive, and we chatted for a while. That’s when the lightbulb went off. I’m now going through my Sunshine Rewards vendors to see if I can find a good deal and get a good percentage back from shopping through Sunshine Rewards.

Looking for Father’s Day Ideas

I have a weekend goal. I’m trying to be wiser with Father’s day than I was with Mother’s Day. I let Mother’s Day slip up on me for the most part and was out buying gifts the Saturday before they day. I have already started browsing online and brainstorming for ideas. I’m trying to decide between a fun piece of technology or maybe some golf stuff. That’s one thing I know my dad hates to spend money on, but he enjoys it so I’ve got my eye on some Titleist golf accessories. The only other thought I’ve had so far are some personal gifts with pictures of Cameron. Those are always a hit. :)    Anyone shopping yet for the fathers in your life? What do you think you’ll be purchasing?
