High School Musical 3

We are big High School Musical fans at my house.  Cameron LOVES Sharpay.  She sasses around the house and attempts to mock Sharpays songs and dances.  I’ve even got a Sharpay song as a ringtone.  Gotta a HSM fan at your house?  If so, mark your calendar for the following dates:

July 13th - First Trailer for High School Musical 3 will be released on the Disney Channel at 7:55 PM EST. This will be hosted by Gabrielle and Troy….err Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.  :)   In addition to the movie trailer we will be given a sneak peak of the couple’s new song, “Now or Never.”

July 14th – For those without the Disney Channel or who aren’t home on July 13th, the trailer will be available on Disney.com

October 24 - High School Musical 3 will be shown on the big screen (and yes! we will be there)

Camp Rock Sequel Plans Rolling On

Just days after the premier of Disney’s latest made for TV movie, Camp Rock, plans are being released involving a Camp Rock 2. Reportedly, the movie will cast many repeats from the first movie that we watched this weekend including all three of the Jonas Brothers (Joe, Kevin, and Nick) and Demi Lovato. A possible release date has not been announced to the public yet; however, filming will reportedly begin next spring or early summer. Looks like Disney really does think this movie will continue in the footsteps of High School Musical (which is now working on becoming a trilogy as part 3 is filming now).

It’s Camp Rock Day!!

Yep. Thanks to my cleaning spree the house is ready for company. After we’re finished with the morning chores, we’re heading to the grocery store so that we can load up on the junk food – ice cream, hot fudge, chips, cheese dip, and sodas – oh yes! We are eating all junk food for supper tonight while we watch The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato’s new movie – CAMP ROCK!!! Yep the excitement is in the air here – How about your house? Are you ready for Camp Rock?

Camp Rock TWO!?!

Camp Rock premiers this weekend, and what do I see on TV today? Yep. I saw that Camp Rock 2 is already in progress. Wow! Disney works fast don’t they? I have to say this is really wild. Of course, they did the same thing with High School Musical (incidentally I also saw that High School Musical 3 (Senior Year). Disney keeps shooting out the sequels and we keep eating them up. :) After all, just as we are doing with Camp Rock, we also had a High School Musical 2 party, and I’m willing to bet already that we’ll follow suit with Camp Rock and/or High School Musical sequels. After all, our television rarely changes from Disney, and if it does, usually one in the other room is on Disney. We just trade them out.

Disney Back on TV This Week

If you are like me and love to watch Disney on TV, it’s time to program the DVR’s (I did mine this morning) for these airing of television shows that are connected to Disney.

The first one will air tomorrow (June 4) on The Food Network at 9:00 EST. It’s the Food Network Challenge and on tomorrow’s episode conestants will compete for $10,000 by creating 3 foot tall cakes that must feature characters from movies created by Pixar Animation Studios, and they must complete the project in seven hours! Don’t have a DVR and going to be out tomorrow night. No fret, it will air again on Thursday at midnight, Saturday at 3:00 PM, and Sunday at 5:00 PM.

The Travel Channel will also be airing some Disney television this week. If you are a die-hard fan you may have already seen these episodes, but even if you’ve already seen them, they are still a nice Disney fix when you’ve been away from the World for so long. :)
