Summertime, fun time
It’s beginning to feel a lot like summer around here. It’s close to or above 80 degrees every day. Time to tan and shed those extra winter pounds. Sit in any teacher’s lounge and you’ll hear plans of losing those last few before summer – more exercise, diet, fat burner, and many other words relating to weight and summer. Eighty degrees and weight loss talk? Time for me to start a countdown to summer!
Look for summer posts soon!
So Many Methods
Yes, finding those weight loss stories are so motivating, but you also find that everyone has such a different approach to their weight loss. How do they do it? From major exercise routines and colon cleansers to medications like Stimerex ES, everyone has a different answer. So yes, you can get motivation, but how do you decide which approaches to try? Which will work for you and are still healthy? That’s a tough question that I’ll be researching and considering over the next few months. I want to push the boundaries, find something that works, but not make decisions that aren’t healthy.
Thanksgiving Err….Eating Begins
Holiday feasting has officially started. Our PTSO fed us lunch today and boy was it good. This is the time of year when it’s almost impossible to make wise decisions. I soooo love our holiday food. This is the time of year I need some sort of diet pills that would make my metabolism like that of a 13 year old boy or something. I just can’t resist the dressing and dumplings and pies and deviled eggs…and don’t forget the rolls and the banana pudding. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY!
EA Sports Active
Wow! I’ve only done one day of the EA Sports Active, but I’m already impressed. It was fun, it was a workout, and multiple people can play (unlike the Wii Fit). I’ve already been looking at Wii accessories to buy the pieces so that two players can play on our new game. I’ve also gone ahead and bought enough Wii controllers and numchucks so that we have 4 of each. I am acutally anxiously waiting this evening so that I can try day 2. According to the trainer, it’ll be a slightly different workout each day to keep from being boring. I’ll keep you posted!
Continuing the Health Kick
I’ve done it – gone two weeks now of working out at least 6 days a week, and I’m starting to feel better. I’m not so sure I’m losing weight or inches yet, but I’ve got a little more energy. That’s a wonderful feeling. I am going to try to pick up the pace of the work out this week as I’ve now got these 2 weeks going, I think maybe I have the habit started…not it’s time to work on intensity so that I start burning more calories.
I went by the health store about a month ago and looked at nutritional health supplements thinking maybe being tired all the time was because I was lacking some vitamin or something, but it looks like the exercise is going to do it.
Wish me luck as I pick up the pace this week!
