Well unless you visited at just the right moment, you probably missed the patriotic theme…LOL. But then Kim at What’s That Smell? told me about this great site called Scrapblog and everything changed. I found so many nifty things and just kept playing and playing until low and behold….I created this header! I don’t know, but I think I might just like it more than I’ve liked most of the others.

With Christmas being over, I’m working on a new header….Excuse the mismatch and chaos as I go through the editing process….Right now I’m thinking a patriotic theme, but I’m not sure if I’ll like it when it actually comes together….
If you pop in during the transition, tell me what it looks like and what you think. 
All of a sudden my posts down below are going across the entire page and moving the sidebar over!! How do I figure this out? I haven’t made any design changes!! I’ve only done posting…I’ve not even edited the graphics or links in the sidebars. All I’ve done is write tonight. So what is going on? How do I fix it? *sigh* I’m sorry readers, but it’s way past bedtime so I’m going to have to figure this out tomorrow evening. Please bear with whatever this is, and I’ll find the solution this weekend (I hope)!

Do you now hear those lyrics in your head? As I’ve been surfing around and viewing my favorite blogs, I’ve noticed more and more Christmas designs. Then today over on the Momdot forums, Jess was talking about being close to publishing her Christmas design over at Nothing But PURPLE and that was all it took……Nope, I’m not going to be a leader this time, I decided I wanted to follow the crowd…So I’m putting up the Christmas decorations here at All About Kimberly. What do you think?
I have found that I can’t do much with the blog design during the week – it requires too much focus from me, and I can’t do that anytime except Sundays it seems. So I just spent the last couple hours tweaking some other little things and working on my sidebars.
I wasn’t happy with the six buttons just because I had a few more sites I wanted to share with you in such a good spot. I was able to add the third row, and now you’ll see nine of my favorite sites over on the right side.
I also updated the ad that you’ll see about half way down this page (between posts two and three) for a cause that is very close to my heart that I would like all my readers to support. It’s an organization that supports our troops. My grandfather and uncle served in the Navy. My dad served in the Army, and my brother is currently in Iraq serving in the Army so I’ve joined up with Soldiers’ Angels so that I can do more than say I support our troops, I’m actually showing my support for a couple soldiers.
And finally I cleaned up the sidebars. I had deleted the stuff that I knew I didn’t want, but it was really unorganized. Tonight I deleted everything and started over. I’ve still got a couple small things I want to add, but I think it looks much cleaner and organized now.
I hope to finish up all the technical stuff next Sunday and then do a little with the colors, graphics, etc. Maybe make it a little prettier. Also got a few bugs to work out an a friend’s blog that I’m helping her with (Anna’s Life).
