Money Saving Tip: Cheap Ticket Deals

With the economy going to hell and the holidays approaching, I know many of you are like me and trying to find ways to save money on your everyday expenses.  One of my favorite ways to save money is coupons. We have two stores in our area that will double and triple coupons. Yes, I know sitting around and clipping coupons is not the most exciting thing to spend time doing, but if you are serious about it, you can save major money.

In addition to buying my Sunday paper each week, I have now started looking for online coupons.  It’s great to get good deals on your groceries and cleaning products. I’m even able to use coupons for our shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and such, but what’s even greater is finding a place where I can find Cheap Tickets deals. The girls and I love to go to concerts, shows, plays, sporting events – you name it.  Using online codes or special links so that we can go for a cheaper rate is one of my favorite ways to go.  Thanks to the World Wide Web, we can now find great deals for our entertainment too – not just the family necessities.  

If you are looking for ways to save money in your families, give coupons and coupon codes a chance.  You might just be surprised at how much you can save.

CBS Early Show Mega Deals

Ever watch the CBS Early Show? I’m not a regular viewer, but I’m proud to tell you about these awesome Kmart sales that they recently talked about.  In fact these sales are so great, that Kmart can’t actually publish all the prices on their site.  To find out, you have to add the items to your cart. When you do this, obviously, you’ll see the price of the items.  You know when there’s a limit on something or the price is so slow that it can’t be published, that there are some awesome deals.  This Kmart sale is no exception.

A couple of the deals are:

  • - Abbey Hill bedding Medallion Dream bedding collection – Extra 30% online only (search ID# 96096112)

While these are some of the best deals, they aren’t nearly all.  In addition to these special sales (so low you have to check prices in the shopping cart), there are many other categories that you can receive 10% off throughout the month of December.  These categories include:

I have to admit that there are some other stores that tend to be more convenient for me so I’ve done little shopping at Kmart in the past, but after having these opportunities to blog to you about all of the sales and positive steps Kmart is taking in helping us spread our dollars and provide our children with a Merry Christmas, I’m going to start going out of my way to stop in (and do some online shopping!).
Tip:  As you browse the Kmart website from now until Christmas, keep your eyee out for hidden ornaments through out the site. They will provide you with extra savings via a special coupon code.

Big Vacation Plans = Shopping Wisely

As we are planning our summer of 2010 and deciding on TWO Disney cruises, I have already warnted the girls that we must start being VERY wise with our money and distinguising between wants and needs.  Not that we’ll not have any of our wants, but we will limit them and look for really good deals on both some wants and needs.

One place I’ve found that has some of those really good deals is Heavenly Couture who sales discount clothes without discount looks. Everything they sale is priced at $17.95 or less.  I love those prices!  Classy clothes that I’m happy to wear for a price I’m even happier to pay.  Maybe even better is that I just found out that they are having a denim sale right now (of course that means I had to share it with you).  All denim is on sale for only $13.80, and I love denim!  I could wear jeans everyday if my job allowed it, but since I can’t and I am limited to weekends, I do like to find cheap jeans that look good.  I’m not sure about you, but I consider $14 to be a great price for jeans.  Even my favorite jeans cost $30.  

With Becka’s birthday next week and Christmas soon behind, I’ve been paying attention to their teen clothes for the last few weeks, and so far everything I’ve shown to Becka has gotten a positive response from her (as she’s really picky, that’s a good sign).   If you are looking for fashionable clothes without the fashion price, Heavenly Couture is somewhere I recommend you check out.
