Remember all that work I did to prepare for Ike?  Well to some degree I guess it was now pointless because we have now relocated to my parents’ house.  The texts wouldn’t stop.  First from mom….then from dad….then from my baby sister…they continued and continued until I finally said, “To Hell With It!!!!”  And I woke Cameron up and we loaded the car full of crap and we drove the 10 miles that are going to make the difference in this storm.

The good news – we should have electricity longer and the Internet is faster.  Oh, and everything at my house is off and unplugged so I’m using their electricity and water and such for a couple days.
