Disney Newsflash: Christmas and Halloween Party Tickets

Do you have a trip planned to Walt Disney World around Halloween or Christmas? Have you ever been to a Magic Kingdom party? If not, they really are something to experience. We went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party last year and if ever given the chance, we will for sure go again.

What are these parties? They are special events held at Magic Kingdom that require a separate ticket from your general admission ticket. The benefit to this is that you have smaller crowds at the parties than in the parks during normal days. And smaller crowds mean shorter lines. This was overall my favorite part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party last year. We literally walked on to almost every ride we rode during the party. In fact, I was so impressed and the girls and I had so much fun that I tried to buy tickets for the next night, but they were already sold out.

The short lines are not the only treat though. At these parties there are also special shows, parades, and sometimes special characters that only come out for the parties (or maybe normal characters in special outfits).

Why am I posting about Halloween and Christmas Parties in May? Well that’s a simple answer: According to AllEars.net, tickets for these two events go on sale today, May 1.

If you think you are interested in one (or both) of these parties, here are the dates that AllEars is listing so you can see if they will fit into your schedule:

I’m super, super excited about this. I have been patiently awaiting since booking my trip in September for the dates to be announced. I love MNSSHP!

Are you buying your tickets right off the bat? Keep us posted if you are able to purchase tomorrow.

No I’m going to wait until next month. I’m trying to finish earning for our upgraded room (just $30 to go) then I’ll start clicking for these tickets.

I adored MVMCP last year-I’m bummed that this means no August PPP.

I went to the Halloween party last year and I LOVED this party. It was a slower time of year and so not as busy as Christmas. It was a fabulous party that Disney really did right. The parade was amazing and it so cool to see the characters dressed up for Halloween. I highly recommend this one for everyone.

I’d love a chance to go to the Halloween party, Janet, but I don’t see how we’ll ever get to do that while I’m working - I just can’t justify taking off school. And I so agree Hedy. I was hoping for a Princess and Pirate Party in August too. :(
