A friend of mine is in New York for the week, and I would so love to be there too. With this being a long weekend (which means I would have time), I even went so far as to research New York City travel and price airfare and hotels even though I knew it just wasn’t feasible right now. But this is a really good friend that I haven’t seen in way too long, and New York is somewhere I do really want to go someday.  Alas, I woke up this morning at home and not in a New York City hotel, but it’s got me thinking about that 30th birthday trip I’m planning with another friend and wondering if I should add New York to the possibilites of choices. The only thing that really holds me back is that I’ll turn 30 in December so it will not be the best time of year weather wise probably for a Southern girl who doesn’t like the cold. So if you’re reading this out there, my friend in New York, know that I do really wish I was there and not here in muggy East Texas today.
