My First Giveaway
NOTE: CONTEST ENDED!!!!
I’m so excited. I just can’t hide it. I’m about to lose control and I think I like it….Do you hear it? This song is now stuck in my head so I thought – why not? Let’s get it stuck in some reader’s heads too. So let’s party together! Why am I excited? Because thanks to the wonderful people at Precious Girls Club, I am now hosting my very first contest! And what makes it even more exciting? There will be FOUR winners! Yep, you heard me right! Four winners!!
But on to the prize. Some of you may have guessed what prize was coming if you’ve been following my reviews lately. It started when I announced that we had been sent the book “A Little Bit of Faith” to review. Then I gave you my opinion of this great book for young girls, and we concluded with reviews by Cameron. So what is up for grabs? I have four more copies of “A Little Bit of Faith” and I will be picking four lucky winners to send them too. In addition, each member will receive 2 cards that give you a chance at winning a FREE premium “Rainbow Membership” trial at PreciousGirlsClub.com. One card for your daughter, and one for her to share with a friend (a task that would make Katie proud).
If your child falls in loves like mine has, you’ll definitely have to not only read the book but also join the online virtual club where they can create their own characters, virtually shop, decorate their rooms, explore their town, socialize (safely), and play games. Just as Katie gets a very special charm bracelet, members of the Precious Girls Online Club, will win virtual charms.
The fun doesn’t even have to stop there. If you head over to PreciousMoments.com, you’ll be able to buy retail merchandise related to the books such as a charm bracelet like the one in the story, a huge selection of charms, and even a globe with Faith in it.
So how do you win? That’s the important stuff right!? After going back and looking at some of my favorite blogs, I’m setting the following methods of entry (please leave a separate comment for each entry) now through September 14th. You must first enter with the first method before picking and choosing among the others!! On the 15th, I will randomly select the four winners.
- The first way is the easiest. Comment on this post telling me who in your family would enjoy this book (daughter, niece, best friend’s daughter, etc) and what appeals to you about this series. Be sure to leave your email so that I can contact you if you win.
- Second, blog about my contest on your website. Be sure to include a link back to this post and to The Precious Girls Club.
- Third, place my button (available on the left) on the first page of your website. If you already have it, you can still have this entry.) Button must stay up at least throughout the contest.
- Fourth, subscribe to my feed. Current subscribers are eligible for this entry.
- Fifth, digg three posts on my blog (let me know which 3 you dugg and what your digg username is for verification purposes)
- Sixth, add me to your technorati favorites (there’s a link on the right side).
- Seventh, stumble this post and one other (tell me which other one you stumbled and your stumbleupon username)
That’s it. Seven Ways to Enter. Four Books. Four Winners.

Ugh….there always has to be the fine print right?
- You do not have to be a blogger, but you must have an email address.
- Winner must have a US address.
- Winners will be emailed and posted here. Winners have 3 days to claim their prizes or alternate winners will be selected.
That was pretty short and sweet, huh? Very few rules. Don’t you love it?
Good luck!!
Don’t want to wait? Or if you come here after the contest is over, check out “A Little Bit of Faith” at Amazon. That’s the cheapest place I’ve found it (only $4.99)!!!

I would love to get this for my girls Callie and Grace. They have really grown to love reading as much as I do but we have trouble finding things they really love. Girl lit is really what they love. Books about girls being girls. I know this would appeal to them so I am going to be sure to check it out. Thanks!
These books sound like the kind my daughter would love to read! I added you to my technorati faves (Shawnsbidness is my user name there).

Hi,
Although I SAY I have six kids, the last two are foster kids that we are in the process of adopting. I think this book would appeal to Haley and I am sure her big brother Harrison would love to read it to her. These two are five and seven and have been with us two years now. We are hoping to have a court date within the next two months (please).
I also have a fifteen month old granddaughter and I have started getting books for her “library” and if this series is as special as you make it sound, well then Grace will need to collect these also.
And with Precious Moments in the mix you can always count on a wonderful message.
Thanks for the opportunity. I came over via the mom blogs and I’ll send you a private e-mail with all the other ways I will have linked up with you, my dear
