Ok…well maybe not everything, but as developments on the World Wide Web continue, more and more is becoming public knowledge. While this can be frustruating in some cases. One great advantage is if you are doing family history/family tree research, you can now look up almost all county public records. Want to look up when a marriage happened? Who married who? Birth and death records? How about a divorce record? For most instances in the United States, you can now find this information online at places like Complete Public Records (link above). One of my projects that I come back and forth to is working on our family tree and history – and the easy access now to public records I can find online make this so much easier than when I first started this research.
