Buying Promotional Products

I am all about buying stuff with our school name/logo on it, our debate team name/logo, and my blog name/logo.  I love Amsterdam Printing because they have high quality stuff and they send me samples of their promotional items all the time that are acutally customized with our school team name.  That’s how to keep a customer happy!

I’ve received pens and calendars from so many companies that I never buy pens or calendars (thank you businesses for advertising on pens).  At a debate meet, one of the debate organizations that were wanting new members were even handing out promotional mugs with the debate logo on them so now I have a handy debate mug for drinking my hot chocolate out of during these cold winter months.

If you are not using promotional items to support your business, you should really look into this.  People remember who gives them freebies and in this economic time, it is a good thing to have your customers view you favorably!

Ugh!

Yes. That’s all I’ve had to say for over 2 weeks now, and I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired (anyone know that song?).  I feel like I have been coughing forever!  Have I been to a doctor, I was asked today.  Well, no!  But I have actually been taking a little medicine this time.  I sleep through the night with Nyquil.  I love winter and blankets and snuggling, and am actually looking forward to next week when highs are supposed to be in the 40s, but I do not like it when I’m sick! Being sick makes me hate winter (because I blame it) and want my warm summer days back!

Decluttering

One of my Christmas projects is to declutter. I’m working on the house this week, and I plan to work on the sites next week.  This week, I’ve gotten rid of about 15 books, a trash bag of Cameron’s clothes, and cleaned out and organized the kitchen cabinets.

I’ve also been trying to go through “collections” and organize them.  I framed pictures last night and added them to the wall this morning.  And now I must go through the coin collection that belonged to my grandfather and organize and try to even determine why he has some of them as it’s just a big box of coins, and since I don’t know a ms70 gold eagle coin from any other rare or common coin, I’ve got some researching to do.

Back to work I go……

Clean Up Time

School will be out for the Christmas holidays in 4 short hours, and I have lots of plans for the holidays. Today the goal is to finish my Christmas shopping. Tomorrow my brother gets married and Sunday are Christmas pictures after church.  BUT after this weekend, I plan to be more concious of my eating choices and exercise almost every day for at least 30 minutes.  Nope, I’m not waiting on New Year’s for resolutions, I’m starting NOW!  There will also be some cleaning up around here. I’ve noticed buttons in the sidebar that are expired and/or not available anymore – GONE!  Maybe even a new theme.  I need to get in the Christmas mode….speaking of that.  I have a Christmas theme I think…off to see….that may change today!

All I Want for Christmas

is furniture.  Ok, that’s not true for me. But as I was talking to a coworker this week that is what she is hoping for this year.  This got me to looking around and thinking about how old some of my furniture is and how maybe a modern sofa would be nice. Santa won’t be bringing it, but I have refused to update until I thought Cameron was old enough that we wouldn’t have regular spills and disasters on the furniture. Maybe next year though I’ll start looking into some updates as she’s probably old enough now.
