It’s Friday again. Time to join with An Island Life and relax by answering simple questions around all Aloha Friday participants. My question today is in direct contrast to the Island Life question….my question of the week:
What is the most special/romantic…your most favorite Valentine’s gift ever?
For me I think it wasn’t the gift but the moment. Several (we won’t discuss how long ago) years ago, I had a guy that I was dating, banging on my door really late one night. I go to find out who it is and what the deal is…He has flowers and the heart thing full of chocolate candy. I’m in my sleepy state of confusion and he informs me it is after midnight and officially Valentines and he wanted to be the first to wish me a Happy Valentine’s Day.

That’s so romantic!! My favorite VD gifts are the ones from my family. When my girls were little, they made me VD cards. And my husband always, always got me red roses!

Honestly hubby and I are not really that into Valentine’s Day. We usually exchange a card and try to go out to dinner together. Not sure if that will happen this year.

Last year the kids & I met Hubby @ a restaurant & he had flowers & chocolate for everyone. Made us all feel so special & he is NOT one for valentine’s day. lol
