Yep…my pretty little car rolled over 150,000 miles this summer. I can’t believe it. I’ve never owned a car this long.  I bought it when I was 24. Before that (from 16 – 24) I went through a Dodge Ram, Ford Ranger, Ford Mustang, Ford Ranger, and Pontiac Grand Am)..Yep – that’s 5 vehicles in 7 years.  But I’ve held on to my baby since the summer of 2003, and I still love her.  But I’ve started taking some actions and trying to accept her mileage.  I bought a roadside assistance plan and have started a savings just for her (or her replacement) as I figure that she’s going to start needing some repairs more often (or get to the point that I need a downpayment on a replacement.  *sigh*  Kind of makes me sad.
